The members of Voices West are thrilled to collaborate with Denver Children’s Choir for the first time in our October 2025 performance of Mass of the Children by John Rutter!

As Willy Wonka is to his Chocolate Factory, so John Rutter is to the choral world ... the purveyor of enchanting, sweet – and sometimes quirky – melodies loved by all. The Mass of the Children is a chocolate river that flows lusciously and colorfully with beautiful poetry intermingled with traditional mass texts. The adult choir and children’s choir parts are woven together seamlessly and the result is a veritable candy shop of beautiful choral sounds.

Denver Children’s Choir inspires, unites and educates children from diverse cultural backgrounds by fostering harmony in music, community and life. DCC provides choral programs in schools and community-based settings throughout Denver to children ages 7-18 of diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds with opportunities for singers to perform at local schools, in concert halls, for organizations and at cultural events each season.
